How do you get the pictures down to the right size for auction.

i use paint,every computer has it and it fairley easy to do,i pull up paint,minamize it so its on on side of the screen,and pull up your picture file and drag and drop into paint,then select image and then stretch and skew,i make mine about 40%,maybe some one else can explain it better,im not all that good with the computer words!

If you have a good picture program you can use it in a similar way.
A good picture program is a blessing if you have one. It will give you options for minimizing a picture. Just make sure you have the picture saved twice over though. Because once you reduce it, it's reduced, and my program screws up the pictures if you try to re-enlarge them after the fact.
